The Reset Most Agents Skip!

We are wrapping up the first quarter of the year. And for most agents, Q1 ends the same way it began. Busy, a bit reactive, and already rolling straight into the next thing.

But this is where a lot of people miss a big opportunity.

They skip the reset.

They go from Q1 into Q2 carrying the same habits, the same routines, and in many cases, the same problems. And then they wonder why nothing really changes.

Q1 Is Feedback

Q1 is not just a quarter. It is feedback. It is showing you exactly what is working in your business and what is not.

The question is, are you paying attention to it?

Before you move into Q2, you need to pause long enough to get clear on three things.

1. What Actually Worked

Not what you planned. Not what you hoped. What actually produced results.

Where did your deals come from? What conversations led to opportunities? What actions consistently moved things forward?

Because whatever worked, you need to double down on it.

2. What Did Not Work

Where did you lose momentum? What did you start but not stay consistent with? Where did opportunities fall apart?

This is not about beating yourself up. It is about being honest. Because what you tolerate in Q1, you repeat in Q2.

3. What Needs to Change Now

Not next month. Not when things slow down. Now.

Do you need more conversations? Better follow up? Stronger appointments and presentations?

Most agents do not need a brand new plan. They need better execution on the right activities.

Q2 Will Reward the Prepared

This is where your next 90 days are decided.

Q2 is one of the most active windows in real estate. More buyers. More sellers. More movement. But the agents who benefit are not the ones waiting for it. They are the ones prepared for it.

A Simple Challenge

Take 30 minutes today. Review your numbers. Look at your actions. Get clear on what stays and what goes.

Then commit to a tighter, more focused approach for the next 90 days. Because one strong quarter can change your entire year. And it starts with a reset most agents skip.

Wishing you a productive week ahead.
