Happy Last Week of Summer!

Hello everyone,

As we wrap up August, let’s take a moment to explore what it takes to be an Olympic gold medalist and compare it with what it takes to achieve gold medal status as a real estate agent!

Michael Phelps, although retired, serves as the perfect example for this comparison. Widely hailed as the greatest Olympic athlete of all time, Phelps stands at 6′ 4″ and weighs 185 lbs. He wears size 14 shoes and has a 6′ 7″ arm reach—longer than his height. His training regimen during his Olympic days was nothing short of extraordinary. At his peak, he swam 80,000 meters a week, which is nearly 50 miles (an Olympic pool is 50 meters long). He trained for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week in the water and followed an intense weightlifting routine three times a week. His diet? A staggering 12,000 calories per day.

Now, let’s talk about the gold medal real estate agent:

Physical Requirements: Unlike an Olympic athlete, a real estate agent can be any age, height, or weight, and it doesn’t matter how long your arms or legs are in relation to your height. The only requirement is that you have a real estate license! 😊

Schedule: Follow a coach-recommended schedule to ensure consistent effort and progress.

Skills: Master 5 types of scripts, including a pre-qualification script, a listing presentation, and 12 main objection handlers.

Attitude: Stay positive and motivated!

Goals: Set them high and stay 100% committed!

As you can see, the requirements to be a gold medal caliber agent are absolutely attainable!
