Your mini business plan
I hope you had a great Labour Day weekend and feel recharged for what’s ahead.
The first 8 months of the year are done, and we’ve got just about 4 months left to make this your strongest finish yet. It’s time to focus forward.
Last week, I encouraged you to reflect and reset. But now, the reset phase is over. From here on, it’s all about execution. Execution is what creates momentum, and momentum is what separates those who coast from those who finish the year at the top of their game.
Here’s a simple plan to guide you:
Step 1: Pick one business goal
It could be the number of contracts you want written, the appointments you want booked, or the listings you want to secure before year-end. Write it down and be specific.
Step 2: Pick one personal goal
Maybe it’s eating healthier, working out more consistently, or building a new routine like reading every day. Write down what the goal is, why it matters to you, and what steps you’ll take to achieve it. The clearer you are, the stronger your commitment will be.
Step 3: Create daily action items
For your business goal, list out the actions that will move the needle like calls, follow-ups, notes, appointments, listing presentations. Then choose the top 3 actions you will commit to every single day. For your personal goal, write down the habits that will reinforce it and block the time to make them real.
Step 4: Calendar block it
If it’s not in your calendar, it won’t happen. Protect the time for the actions that matter most. Build your day around them instead of trying to squeeze them in.
The truth is, most agents will ease into September, telling themselves they’ll get serious “next week” or “when the market picks up.” But those who thrive in the fall don’t wait. They create their own results with clarity, focus, and relentless consistency.
This is the start of the most important few months of the year. How you approach this stretch will determine how you finish 2025 and the momentum you carry into 2026.
So dear friend, it’s your move. Build your plan. Commit to your actions. And let’s go finish strong.
Wishing you a productive week ahead.
