Your $100++/hour work is waiting, drop the rest!

Last week, I spoke with an agent who was praising a colleague for doing all his own video editing, paperwork, and admin work.
“Smart,” he said. “He’s handling it all himself.”
Let’s be clear, this is not smart. It’s a trap.
Here’s the problem:
You are not in the video editing business. You are not in the admin business. You are a real estate sales professional. And every minute you spend on $25–$30/hour tasks is a minute stolen from the $100–$150/hour work that actually grows your income.
If you want to scale, you must protect your time and focus on your highest-value activities:
  • Prospecting and generating new leads
  • Nurturing your database
  • Being face-to-face or voice-to-voice with clients
  • Presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
The real cost of doing it all yourself:
  • Lost leads because you weren’t in front of people
  • Stalled momentum because you’re stuck behind a computer
  • Reduced visibility because your marketing isn’t getting out fast enough
The agents who dominate the market are the ones who own their role and delegate everything else.
Your coaching challenge this week:
  1. Write down every task you do in a day for three days straight.
  2. Circle anything that does not directly bring in business.
  3. Pick one of those tasks and hand it off, to an assistant, a service, or even a freelancer.
  4. Use the freed-up time to call your sphere, follow up on leads, or shoot a video (that someone else edits!).
Remember, top producers don’t just work harder, they work on the right things.
Protect your time. Protect your income. Play at the highest level.
Wishing you a productive week ahead.
