Staying human is the ultimate advantage

Happy Monday and good morning ,
Last week’s email on AI and getting back to fundamentals sparked a stronger reaction than I expected. More than a hundred of you wrote back. I read every message, and I appreciate every one of them. Clearly this topic is hitting home for many of you.
As we move closer to a new year, everyone is planning with intention. New tools. More automation. AI becoming a normal part of our daily workflow. All of that has value. But in the rush to upgrade everything, it is easy to overlook something important.
Here is the idea I want you to hold onto as we move toward 2026.
AI will help everyone scale. What cannot be scaled might be the strongest advantage you have left.
Technology can write for you, speak for you, and in some cases think for you. But when you hand too much over to it, your own voice starts to fade. Your tone becomes flat. Your message begins to sound like everyone else’s. And in a business where trust and connection drive everything, that is not where you want to be.
So here is a simple challenge for the week. Set aside thirty quiet minutes and answer three questions.
1. What part of your business cannot be automated
2. What part of you brings life and personality to your work
3. What is one unscalable action you will commit to every week for the next month
Maybe it is a personal follow up. A handwritten note. A short video message in your own words. Showing up in person instead of sending a link. Pick something real and do it with intention.
The year ahead gives you room to reset. To build with clarity. To show up with heart again.
Stay human. Stay present. Stay yourself. Your voice matters. Your presence matters. Keep them alive.
Wishing you a productive week ahead.
