One Mini Plan, Big Impact!

Last week, I sent an email to all my clients and agents asking them to set a mini business goal for the month of June. Why? Because five months are behind us, and we still have seven months of opportunity ahead in 2025. It’s the perfect time to pause and realign.
Writing down your goals — whether they’re business-related or personal — brings clarity, energy, and momentum. It shifts your mindset from reactive to intentional.
So here’s what I asked everyone to do last weekend:
Take 30 minutes and write down what you need to:
  • Start doing
  • Stop doing
  • Do more of
  • Do less of
And for all my amazing realtors and go-getters:
  • Write down your prospecting goals
  • Set a clear marketing intention
  • Create a simple one-page plan for the next 30 days
Now, during a coaching call last week, one of my amazing clients said something honest and relatable: “I want to do this, but I really don’t know how to set a monthly goal.”
So I thought — if they’re wondering, maybe others are too. Let me break it down for you:
How to Set a Monthly Goal (without overthinking it)
Make June count with intention and simplicity.
1. Choose one key focus.
Listings, prospecting, client care, social media — pick areas that will create the biggest impacts this month.
2. Set a clear, simple goal.
Think in terms of action and outcome. For example:
• Book 5 buyer consults in June
• Post 3 relevant videos
• Connect with 20 past clients per week
3. Make it measurable.
If you can count it, you can track it — and what gets tracked, improves.
4. Write it down and review it weekly.
Visibility drives consistency. Keep it front and centre — on your desk, whiteboard, or planner.
5. Celebrate progress, not perfection.
Small wins build momentum. Focus on what’s moving forward, not what’s missing.
June doesn’t have to be complicated — it just has to be intentional.
Wishing you a productive week ahead.
