Activities and Results
We’re cruising right through the second quarter and today is May 6th. Time flies when you’re having fun I guess, right?
I want to drop a quick reminder that now is the perfect time to check in on those goals we set at the beginning of the year. Remember that quote: “Don’t be upset with the results you didn’t get from the activities you didn’t do”? It’s a bit of tough love, but it rings so true, especially in our line of work.
Here’s the deal: Too often, I hear agents grumbling about not hitting their targets or not seeing the results they hoped for. But when I dig a little deeper, what do we find? More often than not, it’s a case of not putting in the work. They’re frustrated about outcomes they never really pursued in the first place.
So, let’s flip the script. Instead of dwelling on what hasn’t worked out so far, let’s focus on what we can control: our actions. Are we making those prospecting calls? Showing up for those networking events? Following up with leads like our business depends on it (because, let’s face it, it does)?
If you find yourself feeling a tad disappointed with where you’re at, take a moment to reflect on your efforts. Have you been giving it your all, or have you been holding back? Remember, success in this business isn’t just about wishing and waiting – it’s about rolling up our sleeves and getting stuff done.
